Scrooge the Musical
Of all of the musical versions of A Christmas Carol, this seems to be the hands-down favorite. This stage play was actually based on the popular Albert Finney film of the same name.

I played the quintessential "good guy" Bob Cratchit in this production and thoroughly enjoyed the role. It seemed that I was destined for the role as, on different occasions, a dozen people told me that I would be a perfect "Bob Cratchit."

I was initially concerned about performing a character that's so well know and often over-simplified. Ultimately, I was given the freedom to develop the character beyond the obvious stereotypes. I especially enjoyed the challenge of my singing scene at Tiny Tim's grave.

Overall, the cast and crew were a lot of fun to work with; especially Joe Miele (who played Scrooge) and the members of the Cratchit family.

We Cratchits bonded early into the rehearsal schedule and we'd frequently rehearse our group number when we weren't needed onstage. Leslie dubbed us "the hardest working family in show-business." Happily, I think our closeness showed both on-stage and off.

The Cratchits
The Cratchit family: Peter (Raymond C.), Martha (Hannah Rebecca L.), Mrs. Cratchit (Donna Marie Dylan), Bob (Trevor), Belinda (Megan H.), Kathy (Nikki B.) and Tiny Tim (Kara Marie H.).
