Joseph
& the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Joseph
is my overall favorite musical. The message is a positive one and
the music is fun, touching and catchy. What more could you want?
In this production, I was offered
the Calypso brother role. After some consideration, I jumped at
the chance. After all, how often would a white guy like me be asked
to sing calypso? I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to make the
'calypso solo' as unique and fun as possible.
I got to know several of my "brothers,"
my onstage wife Mo, and other cast members quite well. The brothers
became a bit of an audience favorite as we danced, sang and acted
our way through their jealousy and ultimate redemption.
Though this particular production
had it's share of challenges, I enjoyed it greatly and wouldn't
trade the experience for the world.

The brothers:
(top row) Sean Goodman, Brad Rennels, Trevor Kimball and Tim Christianson.
(middle row) Vic Antonyan, Steve Nathanson, Garrett Finley and Casey
Theule. (bottom row) Matt Walberg, Michael Collins and Robert Nathanson.
